Ginger is the owner of this bright fire red 1963 Ford Galaxie 500. She drove it to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in March to participate in the Run to the Sun car show. She had hurried to get it back together after painting it to make the show with her friend Alex, who drove his chopped and dropped rat rod pickup he rescued after sitting on display for years in a junk yard.
July Tuesday Is Cruiseday Cruise In
Tuesday Is Cruiseday presented by Carsolina.com cruised to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q on July 20, 2010 for the second time in as many months. With showers popping up all around the area, some participants drove through rain on their way to the second Carsolina.com Cruise-In. It did not rain at Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q in Leland, NC where about 40 classic cars, muscle cars, and hot rods cruised on out, including David, accompanied by his daughter, who debut his radical 1917 Dodge Brothers Roadster.
2010 Goodguys Nationals Cruise To Columbus
In 2001, the Goodguys gave each participant of their Ya Gotta Drive ‘Em Tour a dash plaque with the words, “All Roads Lead To Columbus.” Thousands of hot rodders, street rodders, and automotive enthusiasts found this to be true as they cruised to Columbus for the 13th Goodguys Nationals this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio.
North Carolina Blueberry Festival Car Show
The NC Blueberry Festival was held June 19, 2010 in Burgaw, North Carolina. A car, truck, and motorcycle show was one of the main attractions of the 7th annual celebration of blueberries in Pender County. This 1963 Chevrolet pickup truck cruised in from Hampstead, NC, and was one of the many cool rides on display in the streets of historic downtown Burgaw.
Colonial Capital Rods and Classics Cruise In
New Bern, North Carolina is the birthplace of Pepsi-Cola. The soft drink was invented in 1898 in a pharmacy by Caleb Bradham. Eighty-seven years later, New Bern also became the home of Colonial Capital Rods and Classics, a car club founded in 1985.
The club has held at least one car show in New Bern every year since 1986. Colonial Capitol Rods and Classics host a cruise-in every third Saturday at Bojangle’s and this past weekend was no exception.

Spring Toy Run Rumbles To Holden Beach
A few minutes before one o’clock on June 5, 2010, a rumble could be heard near the bridge in Holden Beach, North Carolina. Escorted by Brunswick County Sheriff’s Deputies, a caravan of classic cars, performance machines, and motorcycle riders, cruised across the bridge completing the Spring Toy Run organized by Brunswick County Motorcycle Enthusiasts.
