Ever hear, “Timing is everything” ? In 1969, Ken knew a friend who knew a friend who was selling 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. Ken purchased the two year old sports car and has owned it ever since.

This Corvette was a daily driver for Ken until 1981 when he decided to semi-retire the Corvette. Today he uses it for cruise-ins, car shows, and the occasional recreational drive.

The 427 cubic inch big block engine, rated at 390 horse power, and the 4-speed transmission, have 100,400 miles of fun on it’s ticker. Ken is a member of the Myrtle Beach Car Club and cruised his original classic to the Corvettes at Myrtle Beach Show in 2008, making this year the third time he has participated in the all Corvette event.

Ken noted that others have suggested he restore the vehicle, but he knows this 1967 Chevy Vette can only be original once.
