The 1st Annual Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show at Northwood Assembly in Whiteville, North Carolina was held Saturday December 13, 2008. The charity event raised money for the local youth group and Old Stone Manor in Lake Lure, North Carolina.
The morning started with very cool temperatures, but as the sun rose higher in the sky, so did the number of vehicles in attendance. Holiday parades are in full swing this time of year and it was nice to have a classic car show available to attend.
Joining the vintage tin was a 1950 Massey-Harris tractor. It was sporting the traditional big and little wheels painted hot rod yellow and a bright red fender less body with both sides of the engine exposed. It is a nice machine that the owner still puts to work today.
George Boren is already looking forward to next year’s show and will no doubt have the 2nd edition loaded with even more fun.
