The first day of the year was the first opportunity to go cruising in 2009. A blue sky and sunshine enticed hundreds to motor to Grill ’57 and carry on a tradition that has been taking place for years.
Grill ’57, located at 4202 Fayetteville Road in Raleigh, NC, is the Saturday cruise spot several weekends throughout the summer and has been for over a decade.
Classics rolled in for breakfast and there were classics and customs parked there after dinner. The event didn’t have any set times, no registration or fees, and the people who come out wouldn’t have it any other way.
Folks here believe that what ever they do on the first day of the year, is what they will be doing the rest of the year, and they want to go cruising. And cruising they did.
