The Port City Mopars held their annual show on May 16, 2009 at Mayfaire Town Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. The event was open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, and antique tractors. This year the event registered over one hundred vehicles.
The show eluded tremendous downpours that drenched nearby communities just a few miles away. A light breeze throughout the afternoon cooled spectators and participants.
The Cape Fear Farm Heritage Association from Lake Waccamaw, NC had some pristine antique tractors on display. A few of the vehicles that participated were a 1955 Porsche that didn’t look a day old, and a Hemi powered drag car.
The show ended with an awards ceremony that included trophies and a 50/50 drawing. Carsolina thanks the Port City Mopars for their hard work and congratulates them and everyone who attended for making the show a success.
