The ’23 is powered by a 2003 Baja Boat 6.2 liter Mercruiser engine, breathing through a cross ram intake manifold and dual carburetor setup that had been in storage for 40 years. The 415 horse power producing combination moves the body that has been stretched 12 inches and sits on a homemade frame through a Tarentola Hydro manual shift 350 transmission. A Speedway Engineering quick change rear end out back turning the big Hoosier Racing tires, and reversed Corvair steering with sprint car steering arms out front, anchor the four disc brake calipers.
