July 18, 1996 was cloudy day that so far had a steady drizzle of rain. I was following my Dad as wondered around a muddy gravel parking lot that was roped off and and designated as the swap meet area during the 27th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.

Johnny’s Custom 1949 Ford Little Big Rig
Originally built to tow a 29 foot toy hauler camper, Johnny thought of just about everything. “I restored a 1978 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. The right side rear fender folds down and ramps slide out and the motorcycle sits sideways behind the sleeper,” Johnny explained.

“He took six hundred bucks for it”, Corey exclaimed. The seller informed Keith that he could never get the 1966 Pontiac GTO running, but that didn’t discourage Keith and his son Corey from taking it home and begin wrenching on it.

We had just put all the chrome back on it. We were getting ready to detail it to go to York and my Grandfather was backing it out of the garage. His driveway is a big hook and when he backed it out he swung it too tight and almost ripped the front left fender off the car.
